The power of your passion is magnified when you join a group of people who share your ideals. Here are just some of the many world peace groups to which you can add your voice.

Care2 (make a difference) is a site connecting activists with other activists in similar fields. Emphasis on green causes, fighting children's diseases, starting or signing petitions for wildlife preservation, and much more. (www.care2.com)

Nabuur. A "global neighbor network," members enjoy being part of the world volunteer community. It's great for putting people together with similar interests, such as working in places that need help with farming, with AIDS control, and many of the other big problems the world faces today. (www.nabuur.com)

Taking It Global describes itself as "an online community that connects youth to find inspiration, access information, get involved, and take action in their local and global communities." It's non-government affiliated and very much into human rights. (www.takingitglobal.org)

Women's Federation for World Peace is an online community and also a field work, action community. If it becomes your passion, you can contribute time and energy. If you want to support it from your computer alone, you can do that too. Just signing up for the free Newsletter is enough to add your voice to theirs. It's a non-government organization. Society of Friends The Quakers have been 100% peace practitioners since 1660. While they are a religious group, they are tolerant of many different ways of seeing Things. Like the Women's Federation for World Peace, you can determine your own level of participation: they have available online networking and also face-to-face groups.(www.quaker.org)

Be the Cause. Although they have an active events calendar, they also have a huge online blog community. (www.bethecause.org)

OneWorld. From their front page: "OneWorld’s daily news focuses attention on hidden voices and issues around the world.
