OVERVIEW:
The Joomla! Tools Suite is designed to assist Joomla! end-users with trouble- shooting and information gathering. This information may be provided to support personnel or potentially made available through the Joomla! Forums to provide a more indepth view of your Joomla! installation.
This tool maybe used as a Pre- Installation Audit tool also, but not all functions will be enabled. A standalone version of the Joomla! Health, Installation and Security Audit tool is also available for Pre-Installation Auditing.
INSTALLATION:
If you have Joomla! already installed, simply make a new directory within the Joomla! directory and open in your browser. The new directory can be any name of your choosing.
EG:
Joomla! Installed in : /home/russw/public_html/joomla/
Make a new directory : /home/russw/public_html/joomla/jts/
Open your browser : http://www.yoursite.com.au/joomla/jts/
PERMISSIONS:
All standard directories and files should be left at the default Mode of;
- Directories : 755
- Files : 644
If you intend to make us of the "Custom Joomla! Diagnostic Hash";
- File : joomla_my_site.txt : Writeable during Hash Generation
- File : joomla_my_site.txt : 644 immediately after Hash Generation

Due to the highly sensitive nature of the information displayed by JTS, the Joomla! Tools Suite directory should only be installed within a protected directory or removed from the server immediately after use.

Joomla! Tools Suite on suunniteltu auttamaan Joomla!-käyttäjiä vianetsinnässä ja Joomla!n käyttöön ja asennukseen liittyvien tietojen keräämisessä. JTS:n listaamat tiedot voidaan helposti lähettää tukihenkilöille. Niitä tarjoavat myös arvokasta taustatietoa Joomla!-asennuksestasi kun etsit apua ongelmatilanteisiin Joomla!-tukifoorumeilla.
Tätä työkalua voidaan käyttää myös ennen Joomla!n asennusta palvelimen asetusten tarkistamiseen. Tällöin osa JTS:n toiminnoista ei ole käytettävissä. Erillinen versio Joomla! Health, Installation and Security Audit (HISA) -työkalusta on myös saatavilla Joomla!n kannalta tärkeiden palvelimen asetusten esittämiseen.
ASENNUS:
Jos olet asentanut Joomla!n, niin luo Joomla! asennushakemistoon uusi alihakemisto, kopioi kaikki Joomla! Tools Suiten tiedostot juuri luotuun alihakemistoon ja kirjoita hakemiston URL-osoite selaimen osoiteriville. Alihakemiston nimi voi olla mikä tahansa.
Esim.:
Joomla! asennettu hakemistoon : /home/russw/public_html/joomla/
luo uusi hakemisto : /home/russw/public_html/joomla/jts/
kirjoita selaimen otsikkoriville : http://www.yoursite.com.au/joomla/jts/

Das Joomla! Tools Suite wurde Entwicklet um Joomla! Endbenutzer bei der Fehler-und Imformationssammlung zu Unterstützen. Die gesammelten Informationen können den Support Personnen zur schneller Lösung dargelegt werden oder aber im Joomla! Forum für einen besseren überblick Ihrer Konfiguration und fehler behebung eingestelt werden.
Dieses Tool könnte auch als Vor-Installations Audit Tool benutzt werden, jedoch werden nicht alle Funktionien unterstützt. Eine Standalone Version des Joomla! Befindens, Installation und Sicherheits Bilanzierungs tools ist für eine Analyse auch erhältlich.
